My parents were my first Yoga teachers, and I am grateful they took the path to Mental health and Physical fitness seriously and made it into a healthy lifelong Habit. I having grown up learning and practicing it and I always knew that yoga is where my heart is.
It helped me always be centered, calm and mentally strong, handling various projects with multiple timelines..
So, finally, after a decade of a corporate job, I landed up in The Yoga Institute in India where I studied the history of yoga (and its roots in Indian scriptures) alongside its physical aspects.
Now, I work as a Yoga teacher, spreading the knowledge at different studios and institutions, and multiple Online classes.
For me, Yoga practice is wholesome. Anyone can start Yoga. With awareness, they can inculcate it in their daily being. In my class, I pay a lot of attention to posture and breathing patterns, while remaining conscious that we all have different health goals and challenges. I end my class with a guided meditation. Yoga, after all, is as much about the mind as it is about the body.
